Canon is
well-known for manufacturing advanced technology-based all-in-one printers that
can perform many functions along with the simple printing tasks. The Canon
PIXMA MP480 color printer is one of the printing machines that manage both
graphic images and simple document print jobs. Also, the PIXMA MP480 is also
armed with a scanner and a copier. However, if you face any issues with any of

fix all problems. Also, you can refer these troubleshooting steps to get the
best possible resolution.
Step 1 - If
your printer power is irregular or absents completely, firmly connect the power
cable to your printer and the power outlet. Also, check that the power cord is
securely attached to the back of your PIXMA MP480 printer.
Step 2 –
Clear a paper jam if your Canon printer stopped during the print task. Search
for the jam close the paper output slot or the rear tray. If you can find the
paper jam without checking the printer unit, carefully remove the jam and click
the ‘OK’ button on your printer. If you can’t locate the jam, then power off
your printer and access the scanner bed. Clean the paper jam. Once the jam is
removed, press the ‘OK’ button.
Step 3 – If
your print/copy task can’t complete, choose the ‘Prevent Loss of Print Data’
option. Click the ‘File’ tab, and then select the ‘Prevent Loss of Print Data’
checkbox. Try to print or copy your documents again.
Step 4 –
Empty the hard disk space if your print/copy task isn’t implemented.
Occasionally, a lack of memory on the hard drive can create the print jobs to
hang. Remove all useless files on your disk to make available space and then
try to print again.
Step 5 –
Plug the printer cable to a different USB port on your PC if you’re getting an
error in the scanning process. Try to scan the document again.
Step 6 –
Restart your PC if the scanner tool is not responding. Rebooting may enable
your system to reset and resolve all scanner issues.
Step 7 –
Adjust the resolution on your PC if the scanner function is relatively slow.
Access the MP Navigator utility that is installed on your Canon printer. Click
the ‘File’ tab, followed by the ‘Scan Settings’ button to identify a
resolution. It should range between 75 dpi and 300 dots per inch.
Step 8 –
Reset your PIXMA MP480 printer. Power off your device and disconnect it from
the wall outlet. Wait for a few seconds before you connect it back to. Try to
print/copy or scan your documents to make sure your printer is working fine.
